Platte Canyon Product List

Welcome to the Platte Canyon Product discussion list. This is a free community where you can ask your Platte Canyon product questions and help others by responding to their questions. This list's sole goal is to share information regarding the use of Platte Canyon products like Tracker.Net, Exam Engine, Training Studio, and TBK Tracker. Platte Canyon product developers are a generous group. We encourage you to join, learn new techniques, improve your productivity with Platte Canyon products and related tools, and, when you can, help your fellow developers.

Subscribe

To subscripe to the list, send an email to imail@listserv.plattecanyon.com. The subject does not matter but this needs to be the body:

subscribe vbtrain yourFirstName yourLastName

Replace yourFirstName with your actual first name and same with yourLastName. If you would like to stay anonymous, you can put in anonymous for either or both.

Unsubscribe

To unsubscribe from the list, send an email to imail@listserv.plattecanyon.com. The subject does not matter but this needs to be the body:

unsubscribe vbtrain

Note that you need to send the email from the account that is subscribed to the list. If this account no longer exists or you have problems, please email us at support@plattecanyon.com.

Note that there is no longer a "no mail" option. If you want to stop list messages for a period of time, please unsubscribe and then subscribe later.

Digest Mode

Digest Mode allows you to receive a single email of all the list postings for the day. Once you have subscribed to the list, you can enable Digest Mode by sending an email to imail@listserv.plattecanyon.com. The subject does not matter but this needs to be the body:

set mode digest vbtrain

You can cancel Digest Mode by sending an email to imail@listserv.plattecanyon.com. The subject does not matter but this needs to be the body:

set mode standard vbtrain

Again, these emails need to be from the account that is subscribed to the list.

Posting to the List

Once you are subscribed, you my post to the list by sending an email to vbtrain@listserv.plattecanyon.com. The email needs to be plain text. Be sure to include a subject. Job/consulting requests or statements of availibility are acceptable, but no other advertising is allowed. Any kind of offensive behavior or "flaming" will result in immediate removal from the list.

Help

To get help on list commands, send an email to imail@listserv.plattecanyon.com. The subject does not matter but this needs to be the body:

help vbtrain
